Why KidTechRadar Exists
Hi there! I'm the kid behind KidTechRadar. I'm 10 years old and I love everything about technology — from gaming headsets to coding robots to the latest tablets. My parents were always asking me what I thought about the tech stuff they were thinking about buying, and one day we had an idea: what if other families could hear what a real kid thinks too?
That's how KidTechRadar was born. Every product you see reviewed on this site has been tested by me — an actual kid who uses this stuff every day. I'm not a grown-up pretending to know what kids want. I AM a kid, and I'll tell you exactly what's awesome and what's not worth your allowance money.
How We Review Products
When we review something on KidTechRadar, here's what happens:
First, I actually use the product. Not for five minutes — for real. I play games with the headsets, build the robot kits, type on the laptops, and wear the smartwatches to school. Then I tell you what I honestly think about it: Is it fun? Is it comfortable? Does it break easily? Would I actually choose to use it over my other stuff?
Then my parents add their perspective. They look at things like value for money, safety features, durability, and whether the product actually delivers on its promises. They also research the technical specs so you don't have to.
Together, we give you the full picture — what the kid thinks AND what the parent needs to know.
Our Promise
We only recommend products we genuinely believe in. Yes, we use affiliate links (that's how we keep this site running — when you buy something through our links, we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you). But we never recommend something just because it pays well. If a product isn't good, we'll tell you. If there's a cheaper option that works just as well, we'll tell you that too.
